How to Apply/Renew Reciprocity or Temporary licenses:


Non-Resident initial application:  As of January 1, 2017, you must submit to a background check.  This will take time, so please plan accordingly.

How to apply (if any of these are missing upon receipt to the Arkansas Board, it will be returned):


  1. The application must be filled out and notarized before submitting it to the Arkansas Appraisal Board.  Application
  2. The fee of $340 for non-resident status must accompany the application.

How to renew your non-resident (1 year) license:


Renewing a non-resident 1-year license does not require a background check, provided the applicant is within 1 year of their current expiration date.

  2. The fee of $265 must accompany the application.
  3. You must have 14 hours of continuing education taken within the last year you have been licensed with Arkansas.

Temporary application:
