Complaints regarding Real Property Appraisers

The Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board receives and investigates complaints against registered trainees, and licensed or certified appraisers accused of violating laws, rules or standards of practice.  If the Board finds that an appraiser has violated the Appraisal Act or the governing standards, it can only suspend or revoke licenses, or invoke penalties.  The Board cannot order an appraiser to refund appraisal fees, pay damages, or complete a new/revised appraisal.  Monetary relief is not available from this board.
